Like so many of us, Springfield Plastics has been affected by cancer, whether it touched family members or employees. After losing an important family member to breast cancer, our family-oriented business decided to turn our personal tragedy into a passion: Drain for the Cure.
The annual fundraiser is held throughout the month of October, and Springfield Plastics reaches out to customers, vendors, business partners, and the communities we serve to raise money for cancer research and prevention. While the Drain for the Cure campaign runs across several states, all funds raised from Iowa-based donations go to the John Stoddard Cancer Center of UnityPoint Health in Des Moines, Iowa.
