Why Scalp Cooling is Important to Our Patients
Scalp cooling therapy is an important option to provide to our patients during chemotherapy. This therapy may help limit hair loss while patients undergo treatment.
About the Amma™ Scalp Cooling System
Amma™ is the first FDA-cleared, portable scalp cooling medical device to reduce chemotherapy-induced hair loss. The machine is easily portable and patient-administered which allows patients to complete post chemotherapy cooling outside of the infusion chair.
The portable device makes scalp cooling more accessible and feasible to patients while also streamlining the process and eliminating longer stays in the infusion center.
